After 3 great winters at Aruba, the park changed ownership and management. Our fourth year was such a disappointment we moved on 2 months early. The park manager is rude and disrespectful towards the guests. The office manager can’t even manage a computer. Drive through the park, it’s less than half full. All activities have suffered or stopped completely. My advice, drive on.
Not the great RV Park it used to be. The location is great if you like fishing and the campsites are a good size. Management is very unfriendly and he doesn't want the workers associating to the residents in any way. There have been some nice upgrades but that caused the rates to skyrocket. Many families with children have moved in permanently, so the quiet atmosphere no longer exists. Many of the older seasonal residents won't be back and that is sad....they were a wonderful group of people.
We had a wonderful time! The pool was clean & heated when the weather was cold. Restaurant was excellent and authentic. Neighbors were friendly; one cooked us fish because we didn'tcatch any. The (unsponsored) activities were entertaining. We played cards, did karaoke twice, danced, played games, saw Chameleons & the alligator. There were no strangers at Aruba, just new friends.
Very nice RV resort. Good mix of permanent sites and traveler long term sites.
Gem of a park. Staff was friendly and helpful when we showed up early with only a phone call and no reservation and were significantly delayed checking out. Very well kept, clean and quiet. The on-site restaurant has good food. Bit of a drive to town for groceries and such, but watch the canals along the way for gators. Would definitely stay again.
