First of all, the facilities are disgusting and never cleaned. Holes in ceilings and floors with rotten wood. I would never use these facilities and would much rather use the restroom in bushes then this bath house. Second, old and run down trailers make up 60% of their sites with many of them unoccupied and housing stray cats and other rodents. The stray cats swarm this park because of the ample coverage due to these trailers. Third, the owners , very old in age, discriminate based on age and made judgments on me based off the fact that I’m young. After 4 months of stay we were told the rates are going up for season and that since we are young we must not understand how business works. I was blown away that after months of paying like everyone else that I would be talked down as if my age constitutes for knowledge or funds.
Fourth, sites are run down and poorly managed. Several neighbors complained of unkept sewer hookups including myself. We notified management that our Sewers were clogged. Our waste has been pouring into the grass under the RV for over a week and still hasn’t been addressed or a new site offered to us. I went to renew my monthly lease and asked for a new site until this one was fixed and it was not an option. I now have to leave on a moments notice because management lacks compassion and hygiene management for its customers.
The only good think about this park would be the location, however there are over 3 near by parks with excellent facilities: Grooves RV park and Gulf Air RV Park for example are less then a mile away, have full facilities and pools, plus well kept sites.
Good Experience, very accommodating and quick to respond during the reservation process! Personally I was bit concerned based on other reviews however we would certainly stay again without hesitation. It is an older park with some older rigs but the grounds we kept up and everyone was super friendly.
It is a very quiet place. No one bothers you. When we pulled in, the residents helped my husband get the camper parked. It is one of the few dog-friendly places in the area. Several restaurants available in the area. Beach access is very easy, you just need to plan for bridge traffic using Google maps. We were hit by pending severe weather and the owner juggled things to ensure we didn’t have to pull the camper in potential high winds and storms. As a restaurant at home says, “we ain’t fancy.” But they will help you when they can. Marie has been very accommodating.
The vm has a lady thanking you for calling a number with a 239 area code, I think (Google is 866) and then proceeds to tell you to send a text but doesn’t bother to repeat the number. I finally get something to call back and write number down, it seems she only left 7 digits and it was breaking up. Now as I’ve called another 4x to try to get this lazy text number, the call won’t go thru at all. YOU ARE RUNNING A BUSINESS NOT A TINDER SITE for Gen Z. PLEASE USE THE VOICE THAT GOD GAVE YOU AND ANSWER THE STUPID PHONE ON YOUR DESK THAT THE COMPANY FURNISHED! Is this just a money laundering scheme or does this place actually conduct business?
Super nice people. You don't get bothered by anyone and no one bothers your stuff.very safe place
