So happy we found this resort! The grounds and facilities are meticulously kept up. Staff and neighbors are all so nice and helpful. We are a family of four here for a few months during the off season. We wish we never had to leave our little oasis.
We have stayed at this property multiple times. We choose this location because of the close proximity to family. Unfortunately this will be our last stay here. We understand rules, and we are happy to follow them. Every single stay, we have been made to feel as if we are not welcome. I was walking my dog and had a man on a golf cart stop in front of us, cutting us off, walked up to my dog and demanded to meet him. I understand that I have a bully breed dog. But to nearly run my dog over and force a greeting is a good way to get bit from any breed of dog. Today, Christmas Day, it was raining all day. The lot across the way had an rv on it. The neighbor told us that the couple were away for the holiday. Knowing that no one was there, we parked to avoid having to get soaked in the rain from having to walk across the park to the parking area. The same man that we had interactions before, knocked on our door at 8pm, again upsetting the dogs, and demanded we moved. He then went on to blame the gentleman that told us that the couple were away. It was very rude, and could have been handled very differently. There are many other places in naples that we will now try. We used to come here during the off season, often being the only ones here. Not anymore. Very unfortunate
We use to come here for many years and referred many people. We stopped going for a few years now because Shelly and Greg are very rude. Greg gets drunk and crosses the line and will curse and humiliate you in front of family and friends. And shelly enjoys every moment of it, she even winds him up. Friends have complained that she is rude and condescending ,she has an attitude and knows she can get away with it. We are an older, educated couple that follow rules. But one year we committed the error of parking into the empty lot next to us late at night to unload groceries on a rainy day and Greg was drunk and out of control. We stayed composed but will never go back again.nor will our friends after hearing what had happened. There is a way to talk to people without being disrespectful. Your talking to adults not children.Clearly the owner doesn’t care because they are still there years later. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. It’s not worth getting bullied by these two unprofessional individuals. You don’t know when they will wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
