Great new RV park right on the river. Clean, level, well built sites. Awesome playground and amenities for the kids and dogs. River access was great. You can float 2 miles back to camp from downtown Salida very easily. The staff was very accommodating even when we caused an issue with one of our vehicles breaking.
It was a nice, clean park. The view of the river was pretty. I just wish there was somewhere to just sit on the river to relax and wade a little. There is one spot, but it's very small with weeds everywhere or the boat ramp. I got a river view lot and was hoping to actually spend some time with my feet in the water behind my lot. The river is quite a ways down and is not accessible, even though the pictures look like they are right there. It was a little too pricy for what was offered. Also, showers need to be a little more private. I gave it 4 stars because it was a nice clean park with nice staff. It's my fault for not researching further and just going by reviews.
This is a new and very nice RV Park just south of Salida at the mouth of the Arkansas River canyon. While it is close to US 50, the traffic noise is minimal. The clubhouse is fantastic with clean showers, fresh coffee and a nice sitting area and workout room. There were also laundry facilities. We also really liked the pickle ball court down by the river. Sites are nice and flat with intelligently located hookups. Be aware that this is a new park so the trees are still small and shade is non-existent. However, trees are in the ground and they will grow so I expect this park to just get better and better. Highly recommended for your next trip to Salida area.
The property manager, Audrey, and her team are incredible! They’re very accommodating and make sure everyone is very well taken care of. It’s a very dog friendly park which is amazing and the access to the river is unbeatable. Perfect place for lover of dogs and one who enjoys all the outdoor activities!!! LOVE it here!!!
