The spot we had had no slab. We were in complete mud. The electrical and plumbing are in the same location…very dangerous. There septic system, must have been backed up..even with all of our valves closed, the whole area had a septic smell. We ended up disconnecting ours, and using our tank, then flushed before we left. Advertising images shows nice location near a pond, clean, well maintained…false….we were so close to train tracks the RV would shake, at all hours!!! They don’t have WiFi but offer a pay program…which is ok if your not in a deadzone(space 5, doesn’t work, but if standing in the laundry room it does, waste of money) no traffic light to pull out of resort…hard when you have a large rig. We came for the Daytona Rolex 24…..left Sunday morning before race was even over….would never stay here again, poorly maintained, There was left behind trash, old grill, someone’s dead potted plants, old pots, tossed in the bushes behind us… and if you see the “maintenance shed” you can tell how much “pride they take in there property” I’ve stayed at encore properties before, this was not a good one.
We have been very pleased with this campground. Some sited are older but mostly kept up. Front office person was wonderful to us. There was an issue with someone in our site. She resolved the problem immediately by giving us and our camping buddies another location. This is a great place to enjoy watching the water birds. My only complaint that kept me from a full 5 stars, is that even though the laundry room was clean and the machines were all working, there is no air conditioning or even an exhaust system. So it was unbearably hot. Other than that we have loved it and are likely to come back.
Great club house with games, amenities and good wifi. We liked the RV park and also understand some of the other (mobile home) reviews. Our site was really nice, w/ level concrete pad. even though it was in a really wet week so it had a bit of a water puddle. the train even worked for me, it's there but we vibed with it.
Terrible. It's a junk yard overrun with stray cats that they encourage residents to feed. The women in the office are rude. It sits on a swamp that smells terrible at low tide. Lock your stuff because all of my laundry was stolen out of the laundry room and a gun was stolen out of my truck. It's not a safe place and managment does nothing about it. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
Great location close to beach and restaurants. Double campsite directly on the water with private floating dock. Impeccably clean bath house and laundry facilities. Seamless check in. We will be back. Top notch.
