Excellent! My son had the best Summer Camp experience. It was his first time and he had a blast. The staff and director were awesome! My son learned a lot from the activities that were available to him. There was never a dull or boring day at camp. My son can't wait to go back there again this summer!
This summer will be my daughter's 5th year at Camp Frontier. Each year she's wanted to stay longer. This year she will be a CIT and is staying for 4 weeks. From the moment she comes home from camp she talks about the next summer. She has made so many friends both in the US and internationally that she communicates with. It's great that the kids have someplace like this to go, it lets them be kids, develop relationships, have life experiences, be outdoors and be electronic/social media free. Although it isn't inexpensive, what your child will get out of it may be invaluable.
My daughter has attended Camp Frontier since she was 11. She is now 16. She looks forward to it all year long, and misses it from the minute I come to pick her up to take her home. She keeps in touch with all of her camp friends all year long, and has made many of the best friends of her life at Camp Frontier.
I visited Camp Frontier before I enrolled her and have been completely satisfied with the staff, the facilities, and the safety level. I would recommend this camp to any of our friends and if I had more camp aged children, I would enroll them there in a heartbeat.
My daughter Anna has attended Camp Frontier for over 7 years. (She is now 16) She has made life long friends that keep in touch through out the year. The Staff is so wonderful and loving that you feel like "family". The Counselors set the standard High as they encourage the older ones to mentor and help the younger and all to feel valuable. They are always helping the campers to learn great character qualities such as kindness, patience, and putting others first. The love and acceptance that each person feels when they enter the Camp is beyond words to describe. I can only say there are many tears on the day you pick up your camper. Its an incredible sight to see. The camp offers wonderful sports, activities, arts and crafts and great outings to local venues. My daughter lives the whole year counting off the days until she returns to camp. Words cannot express our gratitude for all Camp Frontier has done for our daughter. The owners Brian and Dianne Collar have done an incredible job year after year keeping the Standard High with the Best food, Counselors and programs. The consistency has been the same for all the years we have attended. I can't recommend them enough!!
My daughter has attended Camp Frontier for five years (Ages 12 through 16), and it has been a terrific experience for her. She has made friends from many other countries, and each year she looks forward to seeing her old friends again, and making many new friends. The broad choice of available activities has allowed her to try new sports and crafts that she had not experienced before, helping her to gain self confidence and maturity. In 2016, she was a Counselor in Training (CIT), and in 2017 she is looking forward to becoming a Counselor Assistant (CA). Camp Frontier is a very good environment for children to have fun and expand their life experiences, in a safe environment. Highly recommended.
