This was a great experience! When we checked in they were extremely helpful. The guests/residents were awesome as well. When we checked in we discovered an issue with unloading the boat and one of the residents jumped right in and took over, hooked the boat to his truck, and helped put it in the water.
Sites are on the smaller side but still have enough room. We were with another couple and "buddy" parked (one pulled in, the other backed in) in two side-by-side sites. Hookups are at the rear of the sites, so if you plan on doing this make sure you have enough hose and power cable. The lake was beautiful, clean, clear, and good fishing. The boat ramp is older but still in good condition, as well as the docks. They have slips for rent. We camped at Lake Rousseau RV Park & Fishing Resort in a Motorhome.
Leaking leach field in the park horrible smell. Was a nice park until Mr Corky became manager. Here is the leaking leach field. Enjoy.
We can't speak highly enough about this campground! The people here, the staff here, are the friendliest we have ever experienced! We honestly felt like home, and really hated to leave.
I highly recommend slip #77, which has a front and center view of Lake Rousseau. We have never seen so much wildlife in one place before either. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon.
Staff and residents are so nice. Mr. Corky, Ms. Barbara and Ms. Lori have been wonderful assisting with everything while there. The Resort is well maintained and peaceful. It's living the life of a small community and I love it there. Best RV Resort I've been to.
