We tried their burger with fries and a side salad! Everything was delicious and the burger was the best I’ve ever had in NC!

The Traminette wine was fabulous!

We will be back.

A little out of way but worth a Sunday drive to visit. The Restaurant Tasting Room situated above the river offers beautiful scenery. The menu was Cafe style, limited selections but ample enough to satisfy any hungry guests. The river itself is marked private, no trespassing. The manager said fishing is allowed as catch and release basis but is implied to apply to guests staying at their lodge.

While camping nearby, we decided to check this place out. It’s dog friendly so Rex was happy. We went on a Friday at lunch time and it was not crowded at all. Staffing seemed short but our waitress was hustling. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip appetizer. She did a flight of wine tastings and I ordered a very tasty honey dew ale. We sat outside on the deck that overlooks the creek. Great view. This place has a restaurant and a small campground (minimal hookups for around 10 campers or RVs). I would have given it a 5 star review, but one of the workers was using a gas blower very close by. They should have done that before opening or after closing. Otherwise a good experience.

Josephine, it was great meeting you and hearing the history of your vineyard! Thank you for seating with us and sharing that information. We were out on a girl's Day trip, and the way you and your staff greeted us made our time at your vineyard well worth the drive! Chelsey, thank you. You were awesome!❣️ we are definitely looking forward to coming back! The food was delicious, and the vineyard was beautiful! WHAT A VIEW, to sit and enjoy a meal!
