Not for kids. No pool or playground. Just fishing from the dock. Very quiet. Peaceful, wooded setting. But not too far from stores or groceries.
One of the best Parks where I have lived, very familiar, you have a ramp to go fishing or boating, the neighbors are very nice and the owner, Mr. Paul, is a very good person, and the other important thing is that it is very cheap .
Went by to check out boat ramp, sign says 5$ to use ramp. Owner was out side in his gator, stopped to ask rules of ramp and all. Asked if I could put my boat in for just a sec to make sure it was in good working order before I went out the next day. That I only had a few dollars in cash(3$) on me. Was not expecting to have to pay or I woulda brought a 5. He told me he doesn't charge for the ramp but for the access of driving down his road. Had to convince him to let me put my boat in for 5 mins to let it idle and see how it was running since I have only ran it with ear muffs on. He eventually agreed. But was rude and not nice at all, I even tried to introduce my self shake his hand and be respectful. He was just a bitter old man I would advice stay away.
Oh yea the ramp is gravel and really steep so be carful and have 4x4 ready.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND Paul’s!!!!
My husband works in Newport. He got a spot at Paul’s. My kids and I went to visit my husband for 4 days. Hubby got there on a Wednesday, kids and I got there on a Monday, we were kicked out by the end of the week.he never asked how many people would be there. He charged us 400.00 because of the kids.(for a week) We were all kicked out because he didn’t want the kids there. (Ages 7,5,2,1) they didn’t cause any trouble, were never outside with out supervision. He’s just a cranky old man who needs Jesus.
Worst experience I have had in 30 years as a traveling tradesman. No integrity in the man’s verbal contract and experienced retaliation for speaking my truthful opinion.
