We thoroughly enjoyed camping at this little hidden campground. I usually hike in to camp but this was a nice change. We were able to park right on site and a pit toilet bathroom was near by. There is a nice creek and a few trails to enjoy along with a fire pit lantern post and picnic table at each site. I would definitely recommend this one.
I was solo camping so wasn't totally sure about this spot. When I pulled in I was immediately relieved as there were two quiet looking camps and two empty sites. I took the first one on the right by the river. Just a great spot, but there is a bear problem of sorts. The first night there was one on the other side of the road and I helped the other campers chase him off. Later a smaller one was just outside of my tent. They both came back the next night and they are totally uninterested in people and don't care much if you make noise! Very exciting, a little scary, but a memory that will last forever.
We had a great time here. The outhouse was really nice. And there is a small creek close to the campground and a bear proof trashcan.
4 beautiful campsites. No fees. 1 has a very small stream behind it. Campsites are very close together. Each has a picnic table and fire ring. There is a vault toilet and garbage bins. We have Verizon and had at least 2 bars. Park Ranger was very pleasant and informative. Would stay again.
