Pricing is really the only great thing. I dont know why everyone says thank the cleaning people when the guest is the one that does their job for them. You clean your own sheets, dishes, trash and all. Really needs to learn the meaning of Southern Hospitality.

Amazing Cabin!! Perfect for a family getaway. The owners are very pleasant and informative. The cabin is well equipped with everything you may need for the whole family! Book your vacation with ease at the Lazy Daze Cabin and at a perfect price!!

What a great find! Lazy Daze is a great place to spend a weekend - or a whole week if you are lucky enough! Beautifully appointed but still feels rustic. Quick drive to West Jefferson, and several hiking trails and parks. We will definitely be back!

I was recently planning a short vacation for my wife and I and, perhaps, a few siblings. I made a reservation to secure a place and paid 50% to hold the cabin for 6 adults. This was 34 days in advance. Under AirBnb’s policy, I could hold my reservation for a few more days. Not knowing exactly how many would actually decide to come, I politely emailed the owner at the same time I made the reservation and asked if it was possible to accommodate more if we had them set up tents outside the cabin. He explained we could not do this (the fire code maximum was 6) even if they stayed outside in tents. He then asked me to cancel my reservation in the same email. I replied back and asked if I could at least wait until I confirmed how many were actually coming. I told him that I understood that 6 was the maximum but that I might have as few as 5 and may even come even if it’s only my wife and I (2 guests). Within 30 minutes, the owner emailed me back and demanded that I immediately cancel my reservation because “its not fair to take those dates away from others.” This was 34 days in advance. I ended up canceling even before hearing back from my siblings. The cabin is nice and the price is reasonable, but the owner seems rather hot-headed to me and seems obsessed with maximizing occupancy.

A beautiful, clean, and well furnished cabin that is everything you want when you stay in the mountains. Close enough to stores, attractions, and restaurants, but far enough away to not hear traffic and noise. This is now our favorite place to stay in all of Boone and West Jefferson after 25 plus years of coming to this area.
