Located within short walking distance of Rio Grande River, Riverside Campground has pull through sites with electric and water to accommodate motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels or tent camping.
This is the first time we camp here and we loved it! We set up our pop up trailer in the full hook up section and had no problems. There is plenty of shade, many trees, and beautiful nature all around. The days were hot and the nights cool... just perfect. The restrooms are really clean, i believe they are cleaned multiple times a day due to their cleanliness. The showers are nice and private. The shower water is a bit hot but still nice. My family had a blast and we will definitely be back!
Kids enjoyed the playground. If visiting in the summer I recommend bringing a small inflatable pool to cool off if you don't want to cool off in the river.
Did a short fall camping on November 20th. Sunrise is so beautiful here. Fall colors are nice. The site and bathrooms are clean. Bathrooms have showers. The hosts are friendly. Most site have electrical hook ups and water. The weather at night dropped to 20 degrees F. Overall good experience!
Best campground with open space sites for large RV of all sizes. Checkout sites 41-57 for the open space to accommodate the huge RV/rigs. Lots of space in between each campsite. River is running low at this time. Still a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy your outdoor fishing, hiking, walking and the sunsets 🌅 are absolutely gorgeous😉👍🏼
Campground is a little rundown. Bathrooms are well maintained. 30amp service for most sites and good water pressure. Rio Grande is on hand for fishing and Caballo lake is a hop skip and a jump.
Really nice boondocks sites right along the river with a large loop of electric sites. Two large, clean shower/bathrooms. Lots of wildlife! Rustic sites free and electric $4 with the NM State Park pass.
