I fish for a living and I'm always looking for a quite place to camp with my family. If you have found Riverside you've found a small little piece of paradise. Our first weekend here the owners cooked a parent's appreciation breakfast for everyone in the park. The park itself is very clean and quite. John and Pam are kind work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you guys for your wonderful hospitality. We'll see you again soon!

Convenient location of 5 miles to Clayton.

Pros...super sweet owners, small park, very quiet at night. Water, electric and picnic table at every spot. 4 bathrooms(men and womans seperate) and 2 showers (for 25 cents) and a small playground. Pool also.

Cons...just an open field, we got the 1 tree in the field, lots of birds in it to wake ya up. The bathrooms were never cleaned. Had a game room but was locked up the whole time. I'm sure if I asked the owner she would have oped it though. No access to the river.

I've been going here for many years now. It's a great place just outside of Clayton. There are many things to do in the area. Quiet park with friendly people and owners. Good cell service with Verizon and T-mobile, not sure about AT&T. They are usually open until the middle or late October.

Owner is a miserable woman who stalks you as you enter the camp ground and will rush over to you and yell at you if you dare drive over 5 mph in the camp ground. She isnt friendly or kind, just rude. Dont give me some lame response about how you have a 5 mph speed limit, my car damn near idols faster than that, im not causing any one danger by going around the loop at 10 mph. I have brakes, in fact it would probably be more dangerous for me to be staring at my speedometer to make sure i dont exceed 5 mph then just having my eyes fixed on my surroundings as i go 10 around the camp ground. Dont visit here, you wont enjoy your experience.

Excellent owners. Very attentive to all their patrons needs. Beautiful well kept campground. Come, enjoy. We plan to be back next year. We come annually to this area. Best campground around and a great value.
