Such a beautiful venue! Not what I would have expected from a summer camp but, it had so many stunning places for photos, a lovely arch for the ceremony and the room for the reception was spacious and had a great rustic feel. It was also peak fall so the foliage was amazing! It was a really lovely day!
My family did the kayak tour and it was great! We all had our own kayaks and took our time going from drop off to pickup. It was so peaceful and quite an enjoyable trip. I highly recommend doing this if your looking for a day trip activity in the Old Forge area. We are already planning on doing again with additional people.
Adirondack Woodcraft Camps is a magical place! A snowy wonderland for Nordic Skiing and fun during the winters, a Camp for kids in the Summer, and also a beautiful wedding/event venue! Our family is so lucky we get to ski the lit trail on those beauty snowy nights, or race with our local Polar Bear Ski Club at Woodcraft. In the Summer our son spends 3 weeks at their camp enjoying adventures everyday. We are so lucky to have this gem in our backyard! It's a place you must visit for Nordic Skiing and if you have children, the Summer camp at Woodcraft is an experience of a lifetime! Love it here!
Adirondack Woodcraft Camps was the most dreamy place I could have ever picked for our wedding day. The weather was perfect which enhanced the already magical Adirondack scenery that this beautiful place has to offer. I grew up in the woods always camping with family so finding this place was a dream come true. We were able to not only have the wedding of our dreams but we also had all of our family and friends with us the entire weekend. From Friday till Monday we were able to spend some much needed time with our loved ones. Our rehearsal dinner and big day went off without a hitch and the next two days we were able to spend time swimming and kayaking on the most beautiful little lake. This was the perfect place for us and I absolutely recommend Adirondack Woodcraft Camps for the best wedding weekend experience ever!
We spent 3 days celebrating our wedding at Woodcraft, everything about it was perfect. There was plenty of space for our family and friends. Christina and Doug took SUCH great care of us for our entire stay. They went out of their way making sure our friends who needed to check in on little ones at home had a reliable emergency number, checking that everyone’s cabin was comfortable and outfitted, and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. They answered all of our questions even as we planned from across the country and jumped into help when something didn’t go exactly to plan. The camp itself is amazing. We were able to house all guests that wanted to stay on site. We utilized their trails, boats, kickball field, and ropes course. All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the camp was and our vendors loved using the kitchen. Woodcraft is such a special place and we had the most amazing wedding weekend there. Thank you Christina and Doug for opening up your beautiful home to us.
