This is a very nice campground on the lake with spectacular views. Most of the campground has seasonal (permanent) campers across the park. The seasonal campers are very friendly and are welcoming. Now for the 1 star, this park used to be privately owned where the owners stayed on site for the season. Now it is owned by a corporation who is not on site. If the office is closed, then there is no management anywhere to be found. No one answers the phone if you have a problem or need something. Seems pretty strange to me even on a holiday weekend that the office would close around 5 PM! We had an issue with a large group of campers partying and screaming at the top of their lungs till almost 1 in the morning even after we nicely asked them to be quieter. I know we and the rest of the family will not be back unless there is some major changes.

We came here with our camper and it is nice but they really pack them in there..spaces are close but doable.. quiet.. close to a few things to do.. we got here around 4:45 and the office was closed the girl did pull our reservation off the door and seemed a little annoyed but it was fine not the end of the world.. one day we went into what they advertise as a country store 4:40 or so and the girl behind the desk I said hi we want to check out the store (now mind you I was able to see most with a turn of the head) there was nothing in there and the girl said I am closing.. so that sealed I won’t be back it’s one thing to close at 5 or whatever but we were b4 and she could of said I would like to close early today..not worth the money of the stay in my opinion. And they didn’t honor our Good Sam either when we booked I asked if they honored Good Sam or AAA they said no but they have a flag that says Good Sam so I inquired about it and they said after the booking they can’t do anything.. I will say campers are friendly so that was nice..

Second time we have stayed here and we will be back again next year. Lovely location for a restful time. Generally a quiet campground. Can't beat sitting by the water's edge....especially during sunset.
