If you are lucky enough to find a good spot on the Beckler River you'll never want to leave. Most of the forest service roads are almost never ending and the views will take your breath away. Bring the bug spray ! Late June - October are the most visited times.

It was a nice little campground. The toilet was non flush but surprisingly clean. The camp spots vary in size. There was a party of guys that occasionally got a bit loud and rambunctious. Overall, it was a nice place to go for a couple of days.

The camp host here was incredible. We showed up hoping for a first come first serve site and the list was updated on the board. The campsite was freshly raked and the compost toilets were the cleanest I have ever seen. The water is out of service which stinks but there is a gas station not far and another campground, Monkey Creek, with water available nearby. It is tucked far enough from the highway that you don’t hear vehicle traffic and the train we only noticed 3 times the whole night.

I went here recently for a quick getaway from the city with my family. It's a very close drive, easy to locate. The campsites are spacious and private. The local river is very beautiful. We went in late August and the water was crystal clear.

Our family has been enjoying this Campground for many years. The camp host keeps the toilets very clean and is helpful. River access can be tricky but worth the trouble. The river beautiful with wildlife and adventure. There are not too many bugs which is nice but, bring insect repellent anyway because they are here.
