About Campground

Tacoma Power’s Mossyrock Campground is a family-friendly getaway with access to Riffe Lake (formed by Mossyrock Dam) in Lewis County, Washington.

We built a new boat launch in 2018 due to changes to Riffe Lake levels. We also built a new swim area with an access trail and ADA-accessible parking. It is located near the boat launch.

Clean campground with nicely paved roads. Kids loved to bike. Restrooms and playgrounds maintained well.

Full hook up doesn’t include black water. Hook ups only include water and power. You can pump out towards the exit of the park

We will be back

Clean facilities, friendly staff. There is even an ice cream shop! The boat launch is really long, making it a little challenging. The park- developed swim area is nice. Anywhere else along the bank is really muddy. We walked from our campsite down to the water, and our feet were sinking in the mud in many places! Regardless, we had a blast and will be back.

Beautiful! Went camping and boating here, and we had a fabulous time. Water is lower, but it was still easy to launch the boat and jet ski. Water gets choppy as you go out to where it opens up wide, but it's worth the journey.

Great local park for day visit with family. Have not camped here yet, but based on what I saw it would be a good spot! There is a lot of parking for day use, a $10 entry fee for the day. There's lots of areas to explore, nets set up for volleyball/badminton if you want to bring your own game. Section for dogs only/dog playground and seemed in general very dog friendly. There was also a very cute little snack shop that not only had super cheap and delicious ice cream/snacks-but also sold camping essentials like sunblock etc.

A great park for people who love lakes. The beach is nice. There are protected areas for swimming if kids. If you want a long distance swim just walk 100 yards and start swimming there. There is a boat lunch There are areas for camping , games , bbq. All area is very clean and well maintained . It’s all close to the town if you want to go to a restaurant or shopping. Beach is clean. Beautiful views of the lake
