This campground is Awesome! My husband and I stayed for 4 days and it was the most peaceful and beautiful place to relax. The trails around the campground were gorgeous, the bathrooms were EXCELLENTLY maintained and all the people seemed friendly and respectful. The entire campground is very kid and pet friendly. The camp spots were all so nicely maintained, but yet so natural. Our spot turned out to be a little small for us and all of our stuff, but we made it work and loved it!!

We will be back and next time we will just pick a bigger spot.

Beautiful sites that are well maintained and easy to access. We stayed at site 11 in loop A which had great access to the bathrooms, trash cans, and water. The toilets were well maintained and stocked with plenty of toilet paper, the trash cans were also well maintained in the sense that they weren't overflowing and reeking. The sites are close enough to see your neighbors but the huge trees and lush foilage gives a good sense of privacy! There's so many great sites to see close around too!

I loved it very beautiful because the trees are mossed over and trees are green and the moss is almost a cushion to sleep on if your tenting. My family and I enjoyed our stay it was beautiful lots of lots to rent to stay. It was my sons first experience there hes 15 months now and the first thing he did was sit in the dirt and played with his cars and touched everything he really felt the earth beneath his toes! We road our bikes not very far at all litterly 5min bike ride to the water and we drove to the waterfall not very far eaither maybe 20min car ride called THE LOOP. Its perfect this season and very warm days and sorta chilly nights

Very nice campground. Peaceful. No amenities except vault toilets, potable water and garbage dumpsters. We had a double lot which was perfect for two trailers and lots of lot space. River is near the C section, we were on the A section. Very beautiful, woodsy, paved park

We loved our experience at iron creek campground.

Pros: The campsites are fairly private (with the exception of a few). We had quite a bit of foliage neighbors.

The trail is an easy and enjoyable hike, even with kids. Our 3 year old walked the whole thing with no problems.

The Cyprus river is beautiful and there are lots of slow and steady parts near the bank where to kids can play. People were bringing camping chairs to sit in the water because it was shallow and slow. The water is cold but not as cold as I thought it would be.

Cons: Vault toilets in general are a bummer for us. Our 3 year old refuses to use them. There’s always a ton of flies in the bathroom and you have to hold your breath when you walk in.

A lot of the water spouts were shut down. It wasn’t until the 2nd day that we located a working one. I’d say that there is only 1, maybe 2 water spouts per large loop.

If you plan on walking the trail and playing in the water a lot, the trail is located near the back of D loop. People can see into some camps at the back of the D loop so keep that in mind with your booking. We were in D95 and it was a quick 7 minute walk to the water and close to the bathrooms.
