Very nice campground. Very nice hosts. But our camping spot was on a hill and we had to climb up and down the hill to go to the sani can . Prepare to get really dirty, the rocks weren't compacted and the dust was everywhere. Quiet time begins at 10. The water is not accessible to anyone that can't climb down a steep canyon. The reason we went there was we wanted to go fishing. There was a boat launch down the road but you had to pay $10 for day use.

Well maintained restrooms and drinkable water throughout the campgrounds.

The lots are fairly close together and it is VERY CHALLENGING to get to the lake. Bring people that can help if you're bringing a cooler or toys to play with.

We camped at GA2 and GA3 and they had plenty of privacy but were extremely dusty and they have only have a portapotty with two bathrooms way at the top. They don't water the sites at all so the ground just turns to dust. Only 3/6 pay showers worked. Nice location but it is a steep hike to the lake. You also have to walk for water as they don't have a spigot at the sites. The road coming in goes down toward the lake and at one point is no motor vehicles but it is poorly marked. Would probably come back if the site had a spigot to wash the constant dirt off your feet as it gets everywhere. The store has plenty of candy, ice, and even ice cream for reasonable prices.

I like this place but the new owners made it really squished in. They placed a cheap jungle gym in the field for a kids area. The kids are 10 seconds from destroyed it. The store was nice and reasonably priced. The bummer is that we were told we were too loud when other camp groups were just as loud if not worse. Overall I would go back.

Camp hosts and Les driving around checking on everyone were very nice but bathrooms are just port a potties that were not emptied/cleaned during the 3 days we were there despite them being full and out of toilet paper. Lakeside is very rocky, no comfortable place to sit, but is very beautiful. There are very cool tree stumps that are eroding and showing the root system.
