There is a real POP's. He is a very nice elderly man. The camp ground is rustic but enjoyable. The seasonable residents are elderly and are very friendly. The lake was fine. The Bathrooms and Showers are servable and clean. Glad EVE ONLINE found this place.
I absolutely LOVE coming here it’s a complete disconnect and the peace you feel when your there is incredible… Family owned and just the Best you can ask for !
We used to look like the Clampets pulling in but worth it .. anyone going to rent a Cabin I have a complete camping list to ensure you will never regret going you will be booking every year
Stayed Labor Day weekend in Cabin 1 (primitive - no utilities)...2 drawbacks - bathroom is not close to cabins, and no safety rail on top bunk (10 yr. old son fell off while sleeping); lake is beautiful, grounds were nice, they have scheduled activities, bathrooms were clean and had free showers..no issues with hot water
Cabin was clean and as dry as a lake side cabin can be. Bathroom/showers clean. Heck even the outhouse was useable. Swim area in the lake by my cabin was small but having free access to the canoes made relaxing on the 'lake' very enjoyable. Getting through the campgrounds in my car was brutal, might have to rent a 4x4 next time. Customer service was excellent. I would definitely return.
Such a wonderful campground. We got a great amount of dry wood delivered within 5 minutes to our cabin. The rowboat that came with our cabin was big and the lake was calm, peaceful, and great for fishing. We had a great Memorial Day weekend and didn’t spend much for it! The communal bath house was clean and so was the entire campground overall. Very dog and family friendly. We can’t wait to come back!
