From Colbert, Oklahoma, travel 5 miles north on US 75, turn west 5 miles to Platter Flats, OK, then follow signs to the campground.
Great camping place on the shores of Lake Texoma. Electric, water, tree shaded horse corrals, hitching posts, warm shower house with flushing toilets. Can even walk your horse into the lake for a swim. Sites #14 through 22 have a nice level concrete pad for horse trailer and picnic table
Nice cement pads for campers, water, electric, and many shady spots for horses. Trails well marked, and many shady shady spots as well not all trails are open sun all day.
Loved this campground. Water and electric at campsite. Although other campers don't obey rules makes it somewhat uncomfortable for night time enjoyment of a campfire. I didn't like the fact that the horse stalls were not cleaned on checkout. Also rude people letting their dogs pooh and not cleaning it up. Trails need to be trimmed.
