We stayed several nights as we were passing through OK, visiting Pawhuska (3 miles away). We didn’t make a reservation, just drove through and found a place without a reservation cone, then we dropped our payment in the box outside the host’s RV. Unisex bathroom (2) and shower/vanity rooms (2) were neat, warm and clean. The sunset and sunrise are absolutely beautiful. The place is quiet and most stay to themselves. About half of the sites seem to be occupied with long term residents.
Cute little campground… three minutes to downtown Pawhuska. Great staff… friendly people here. Shade and good hookups for your rig.
Not a snooty place… friendly good folks.
Small RV Park located 2 miles south of Pawhuska. But it's a nice, clean, well managed park with full hookups, electric (30/50 amp), sewer, water. Most or all are pull-thrus. Sites are treed and mostly level. Julie, very nice and friendly, seems to manage things well.
We were in Pawhuska to see the Mercantile, Restaurant, Ben Johnson and Osage Indian museum, visit several other shops owned by Ree Drummond, Pioneer Woman, and to see the Ranch. Camped for 3 nights in 35.5' 5th Wheel.
