About Campground

We are proud members of the AANR - American Association for Nude Recreation

Pine Tree Associates was founded in 1934 and is one of the oldest operating family nudist clubs in the country. Pine Tree is a co-op club, owned and managed by and for the members.

The club is nestled in a tranquil ninety-six acre setting just minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland, and a short drive to Baltimore or Washington, D.C. Although suburban sprawl is everywhere, Pine Tree remains in a relatively rural setting and is adjacent to the Bacon Ridge Natural Area, a passive recreation park of 1,000 acres in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Unlike many American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) clubs, Pine Tree is open 365 days a year. In addition to a large outdoor pool, there is an indoor pool that’s open roughly from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The indoor pool is located in Keyes Hall, named for the founding family. Keyes Hall is also the location of sauna, hot tub and the exercise and game room.

Accommodations at Pine Tree include rental cabins, rental trailers, RV sites, and tent campsites. (Please call to make a reservation before visiting Pine Tree for the first time.) The Pine Tree campground is a loop road, with sites on the inside and outside of the loop. The campground bathhouse or “Adam and Eve” is located in the center, making it easily accessible from any campsite. (Please call to make a reservation before visiting Pine Tree for the first time.)

Me & my husband found Pine Tree through aanr & it was a wonderful experience.

We met many lovely people who were very helpful, friendly & welcoming to us.

It was a beautiful place with lots to do.

It is a place that we would definitely go back to.

Thank you Pine Tree

Pine Tree is a beautiful and comfortable family club that offers a 70 acres of natural woodlands, trails, indoor and outdoor activities. Our members come from all over and many live in our community part-time. We are proud to be open and affirming and truly feel that we represent a friendly, cross-section of society where people can safely enjoy the beauty of nature and life as a naturist with like-mind individuals. Please enjoy this zen photo of our happy place. Give it a try :)

Have visited three times and it was always very welcoming, clean, and reasonably priced. The staff immediately make you feel at home and none of the other visitors are too clickish or give off a "don't talk to me" vibe, which is refreshing in the D.C./Baltimore area. The pool is nice, but they took out the slide. There is also an indoor pool, game room and activities rooms. Nothing is more relaxing than walking around the sizable grounds, showering in the well-maintained outdoor shower units, and, in my case, smoking a cigar and sipping wine on one of the benches near the tennis courts while meeting new passers-by from all walks of life. Cannot recommend this resort highly enough. It is worth the short trip if you are in the D.C. Metro Area.
