This campground is just outside of DC which is perfect if you want a short drive to the National Mall and other historical sites in the area. This is a gated community, making it feel safer knowing that only other campers have access to the park.

One word, “DISAPPOINTING”. Looking forward to a 4 day weekend with our 5th wheel at this so called resort campground. Anything but that!! They had a water main break and no water in the entire campground for 24 plus hours. Many sites are full time residence which is fine but some very much lacking cleanliness. No apparent site rules.

Many staff members live on site for reduced camping fees. Repairs to fix water line were initially by a staff member who I question his basic plumbing knowledge. Two other non staff member campers even tried to fix the issue til early morning hours to no avail. Totally unable to reach the camp owners to ask for help in getting a plumber. On site staff seemed lost.

Tight spots, appearance of sights 3-4 out of 10, bathrooms and pool nice shape, roads are gravel with potholes, site’s relatively level but old beat up picnic tabes with weedy grass, no weekend activities offered at all, General Store if you want to call it that had a few candy bars for sale and nothing else, Wi-Fi is good and overall appearance is totally not worth the $99 a night for full RV hookup. That doesn’t include extra cost for more adults. I would not recommend or return. DISAPPOINTING!!

My family and I stayed her 2 nights traveling through the state and were not impressed with the sit. The bath rooms were very dirty, pool had bugs/leaves/dirt in it and the site locations are very small. We will not be going back to this location.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice quiet park, great long term pricing, and the front desk staff are very friendly! Michelle has been very pleasant to deal with. Hope to be back next year. Thanks
