Ramblin' Pines is without a doubt the best campground I've ever visited. The campground has large, roomy, and comfortable camp sites, practically all of which are surrounded by a wooded forest-like setting. The quiet and tranquil nights, along with the sound of birds chirping in the early mornings, make this a lovely location to stay. The campsite has events almost every weekend in the clubhouse (food cook-offs, music, etc.), ice cream and goodies by the pool, and the best-stocked campground store I've ever seen. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, and check-in is a breeze. I absolutely recommend this campground to anyone searching for a fun and exciting visit or simply a quiet, pleasant, and tranquil getaway.

Campground is beautiful and very well maintained. Camp office continually posted warnings of upcoming major storm. Opened their Lodge to campers and pets. All welcome. Provided water and snacks during storm. Their cleanup of the camp was amazing to watch. Power lines down outside the camp, no electric for 2.5 days. Camp staff provided ice for our solar refrigerator. Very caring staff.

Free mini golf, nice shuffleboard, pickleball courts and Gaga ball. Pool is nice and has a mushroom for kids. Jumping pillow, 4 playgrounds and gem mining. Bathrooms very clean and air-conditioned. Another curtain in the shower changing area would be a nice upgrade for more privacy. Activities on the weekends. Great place for kids .

I knew I’d have some minor issues selecting a mixed breed with some Pit in her as my official Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) at some locations that are not familiar with the ADA and/or the FHA laws regarding service animals, but I never expected to have an issue at a campground that claims to be ‘pet friendly.' I don’t want to unfairly give this camp a 1 star rating, as the camp itself was nice, clean, and secured within a gated community.

Just a heads up though, if you plan to stay here, be aware if you have a dog breed on their printed list from 1970 of vicious animals, a fulltime Karen will turn you in and you’ll have to go get harassed like I did at the front office. After explaining that the law overrides their list, they wanted to then play detective and doctor and pretend like they had the power to decide if my service animal was truly necessary or if the Veterans Affairs Medical Center may have made a mistake. I was laughing inside as this was the most ridiculous thing I've witnessed in a bit.

Knowing that I was in the right, but also would face more harassment if I stayed, I politely asked for my next month's rent back and left. Pretty sad though as they lost a 2-3-Year tenant that would have paid on time and never caused any issues. I guess my sweet little girl was just too scary for Big D and the Real Karen's of Ramblin Pines. See pics for a good smile. God bless.
