I had an exceptional experience at KOA Campgrounds in DC! The location was superb, with easy access to all the city's attractions. The campsite itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area, offering great tips for sightseeing and dining. The amenities were excellent, from the modern facilities to the convenient camp store. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a first-timer, KOA Campgrounds in DC is the perfect place to stay while enjoying the nation's capital. I highly recommend it for a fantastic camping experience! 🏕️🏛️😊

This is a solid KOA. Absurdly clean bathrooms, about half is nicely wooded, good playground and jumping pillow for the kids, and a good 1 mile nature trail in the Campground.

Road noise was fine, it's not quiet, but normal for the DC area. I could not hear it in my RV at all.

Would recommend and I would stay here again.

This is our second stay here and will not be our last. Location is amazing. Yes, there is traffic nearby but that’s expected being this close to a major city. If you choose to listen for it, you can hear it; but otherwise you feel like you’re “away from it all.” You really won’t find a better location this close to DC. The campground & facilities are clean and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Wife is super picky & almost always showers in the RV but not here. The showers are “that” clean. They have a small area for dogs to run and also a great walking trail through the wooded area around the campground. You really wouldn’t know you were near the city. Having read some of the negative reviews about staff we felt we needed to present another POV. Everyone we’ve dealt with here has been friendly and accommodating. They are constantly cleaning - outside areas and inside facilities. Hands down one of our favorite KOAs.

I have been staying here at this KOA for 6 weeks now while I am working in Baltimore. The management team here is excellent! Everyone has been extremely accommodating and kind. The grounds are very beautiful and well kept. I am excited to stay here for the remainder of my contract. Thank you so much to EVERYONE that works here. It feels like my home away from home.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very clean sites. Seen a staff member clean the. Bounce house so that one child could use. For the winter camping was very surprised to see so many campers. I would go again and recommend going again.
