We stayed here for a long weekend in September while our kiddo was doing a Ripken Tournament. It was our first ever RVing trip & first RV resort experience. We booked a Friday-Monday stay. The park is nice, we were right on the water, by the dock, but we ended up leaving a day early bc BOTH men & women restrooms were flooded with sewage overflowing from the toilets and all over the floor in the showers. We reported it to the office (this was a Sunday) and were told maintenance would not be in to fix either restroom until Monday...because this did not constitute an emergency. We felt like if raw sewage all over the restrooms and showers weren't important enough to declare repair and clean up an emergency for their current guests, we didn't need to stay...or return ever again. They already had our $ for the one night that we forfeited, but at that point, I think they needed that $ more than we did, and they just won't get any of our future $. Such a shame though bc location wise, I very much enjoyed that.
This is one our favorite little rv parks! The folks here are great, sites are level, utilities are perfect. Nice little store, and convenient to other landmarks in and around Baltimore and DC.
nice rv campground with pretty water views. I got a great spot, but wished I could back in, better views from my motorhome that way. Plus backing out and turning near other rigs was a concern.
very nice lady at office, very welcoming.
two issues, neither of which were a problem for me. There is a freight line not too far West of campground and you can hear it. I like trains so no problem. Second, lot of military installations around here and pretty regularly you hear booms from them blowing up something.
this is a nice spot at the top of the Chesapeake, quiet and scenic.
water pressure was a little low. Internet was fine, kudos for that.
Campground is decent, sites are very small. Nice waterfront property. Unacceptable cancellation policy and staff is not friendly. Beware.
We are staying here in our travel trailer and the place is fantastic! I would definitely come back. The people are super friendly the staff is great! The views are amazing. It seems almost every site is water front or water views.
