Ski lake trail 1.9 from the sign...1000ft elevation gain in 2 miles. Great hike for dogs and kids. Beautiful wildflowers, streams, and lake at the end

This was a perfect trail for dogs near Grand Teton! Park on the slope or in the lot across the road. This trailhead leads to many trails, including Ski Lake Trail, which leads to a small lake (5-6 miles). Saw many dogs on the trail. We arrived early and parking was not an issue. It seems like a less popular trailhead so parking wasn't filled even in the afternoons on weekdays.

@cameraonyou for more! ❤️

Excellent spot to hike. So many wildflowers and a great trail. I went ski lake with my dog and we swam then hiked the rest of the way to summit Glory from the back. Saw moose tracks but only had birds for wildlife. I'd recommend going early as it can get busy and take your dog if you got one!!

Hello hikers! We hiked from the dirt parking lot across the highway up to ski lake. It was an easy moderate hike up, only 2.5 miles sooo... We kept going up! Trail goes through valley/tundra looking bowl. Then we circumnavigate d the snow, and kept going up to the ridge! Snowy up there in late June 2023. Then we bushwhacked/snow whacked along the ridge to Philips trail and went down (finally) through another valley that eventually hooked back up to ski lake tail. Lots of trail options from this trailhead, which is probably why is gets full on weekends
