This place is very hiker friendly. I came here to pick up a box I sent with supplies for my Cohos Trail thru hike and when I arrived and saw the lodge and private rooms decided to spend the night. Karen and Jess were very friendly and Karen even cooked me a pizza! If you're doing the Cohos this is the perfect place to re supply and hang out at and its only a mile off the trail on a quiet road.
Wonderful campground in Stark, NH. The owners are wonderful, as you've already read. Port o potties near the tent sites are clean and the hot shower was a life saver at night. The artesian well (across the street from the shower) produces very good water for camp site needs and the large field and trail system was perfect for my 7 year old to bomb around on. Highly recommend!!
Karen was very accomodating to our unique situation of just wanting to use a fire pit to have a camp fire for a few hours since where we were staying had no way to have a fire.
Very clean area and the tent site is on a beautiful open meadow whereas most campsites I’ve been to are enclosed in small intertwining roads amongst trees so you can’t really see as much open sky.
Zero light pollution to the point where you can see the Milky Way with your own eyes with no special camera equipment. There are also small mountains and a nice treeline in the background as well.
Be sure to book your stay here. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is a real gem. Came up here for a trail race and stayed in the lodge. Karen and the staff do an amazing job. The guestrooms are new and ultra clean with a comfortable bed and a full private bath. The living room is big and beautiful and the little store has all sorts of stuff including wine and beer! I’ll be coming back.
Karen and Kevin are wonderful folks! They make you feel right at home.
Percy Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. Warm and homey… have a stay at Percy Lodge you won’t regret it!
