I figured this being a family campground, there would be a lot of kids, so it wasn't going to be to quiet. Of course, I was right, but on top of the kids running around and screaming everywhere. There were so many unsupervised kids driving bikes around and not paying attention to the cars coming in and out at the gate entrance. The tent sites are pretty much on top of one another to fit as many sites in as possible. If you are looking for peace and quiet or privacy, you won't find it here.
My son stayed at the Twin tamarack campground, and he found it to be very quiet and peaceful place to camp. He rented one of the cabins on site and enjoyed their stay very much!
My family and I love coming here this past week was our second time coming and everything was perfect besides the pool. But we spent most of our time at their private beach lake which my kids and I had lots of fun jumping off the floating dock the staff were always very friendly and we met a few seasonal people also. We went fishing and even rented a row boat to explore the lake. And of course can't forget about Funspot and the go-carts we also enjoyed. We will be definitely making a reservation for next summer
My wife and I spent most of the summer there while our house was being built. Excellent campground with a great setup. Great fire pits. The owners and their son are very nice as well as the staff. Campground is perfectly located with lake right across the road. Best campground around.
