The new owners have revived a hidden oasis here! The campground is safe and clean, the river is refreshing and relaxing, and Ashley and Nick go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you can possibly need. Even thought it feels secluded, it is centrally located to shops, restaurants, adventure, and amenities. Can’t wait to come back!!

We had the best time at Plymouth Sands Campground. It was just adults this trip, my husband and I. We have a hybrid trailer and we were on site 14. All the lots are nice and flat, very clean. You can see most of the campground from any site, so it's perfect for families with children who want to ride their bikes or run up to the play field area. It is a quick and easy walk to the beach area from any site. We headed down to the beach at night and saw plenty of shooting stars.

The beach is the nicest riverside beach we have found. The river was high from all the rain and we enjoyed many floats to the covered bridge exit point, which for us averaged 25min float with a 10 min walk back to the campground. You do have to walk along a well traveled road from the bridge back to the campground, so keep close to the side of the road and watch the kids/dogs carefully.

Nick and Ashley are very accommodating and lovely to chat with, such a nice couple. This is a newly purchased property for Nick and Ashley and they have awesome plans for upgrades. We can't wait to go back every year and see the progress. For those hikers used to more resort style camping, this is "real camping" which we love, expect basic campground amenities. There is plenty of firewood for purchase from Nick and he will drop it off to your site. Market Basket and Walmart are a 5 min drive for anything you might need. We hiked Rainbow Falls, which was beautiful and we did an easy and relaxing walk around Quincy Bog. It's a great area with a lot to do and a great location. We made some nice friends with our neighbors and we are having chats to meet up with them again next year. We will definitely be annual visitors!

This campground is incredible!

Super clean, spacious sites! Plenty of sand by the river side. Fun place to float and play games! Nearby convenient stores, liquor store etc. & hiking trails. The owners are super sweet and friendly!

Will definitely be using this campground anytime I'm in the area

I cant say enough great things about this campground. Nick & Ashley newly own this campground are such nice kind people who truly care and share the same vision of delivering excellence to your camping experience. I called the night before day 1 hoping there was availability and Ashley said there was (after I spent 3 hours calling every campground in NH for a last minute Labor Day tent site). My girlfriend and I got there and were immediately impressed with the location and exciting vibes the campground gave off. They delivered firewood to our site and dropped off tubes for us to float down the river which took the cake for the coolest part of this campground. It's surrounded by a nice, peaceful, crystal clear river. Plymouth Sands is a few minutes off the highway with a Market Basket, Restaurants, breweries, swimming hole, wine & liquor outlet. If I could give Plymouth Sands a 10/5 stars I would. I will most certainly be back here.

It was my son’s (3 year old) first time camping and Plymouth Sands was the perfect place for us! We stayed at a site right on the beach. The new owners, Nick and Ashley are friendly and accommodating. They are there to help with whatever you need. The campground is clean, well-maintained, there’s wood, you can drop your tubes in and float right there, and the place even has swings for the kids. Highly recommend!
