Went with a friend and had a blast! Beautiful drive to the park, camp sites were just separate enough that we had breathing space. Staff was friendly. And we had full bars which was nice as two single females
Very clean and well taken care of park. We stayed in one of the yurts and it was well worth it. The fire tower had fantastic views. Campsites were quiet and private with easy access to water, trash and bathrooms.
Visited here during the winter months. There is a well established array of xc ski trails and open views of the surrounding mountains. The warming hut (building) will allow you ski for hours and take a breather from the cold. This can also be a nice place to walk your dog for responsible pet owners who pick up after them. Not too crowded and plenty of parking. Note there are few geocaches in the area as well.
