$15 per person per night during the caretaker season, Memorial Day to Columbus Day. There is no fee required outside the caretaker season.

OMG. Bring snowshoes but honesty it won't help. I kept post holing to the privy. But you can get to the bear boxes and the first 2 platforms. Don't let the first mile fool you. Wait til July. Hopefully the snow will melt.
Wonderful experience spending a night at the Ethan pond shelter. Caretaker was very helpful and very nice. We got the tent pad at the end, felt nice and removed from the other tent pads. There is a water source on site, water is tan and needs to be treated. There is a kitchen area with bear boxes and tarps.
