About Campground

Located in the heart of New Hampshire's majestic White Mountain Region, Maple Haven offers its guests a beautiful setting and comfortable stay within the granite state. People say location is everything and we strongly agree, Maple Haven is nestled right in the hub of the North Country's bustling gateway. Our campground is within walking distance to the many quaint shops & dining establishments in both towns of North Woodstock and Lincoln and just mere minutes from some of the area’s most sought out natural and man-made attractions. The campground has a wide variety of wooded, grass, field, pond & brook-side tent and camper sites as well as five camping cabins. Over the last several years, we have done an extensive remodel of the campground including a new office, camp store, game-room, playground and bathroom/shower facilities. Many new campsites have been added as well, offering onsite water, sewer and electric. For the last two years a tasty attraction has been our ice-cream window, whipping up and soft serving some of the most amazing homemade New Hampshire ice-cream for our campers and passerby's alike. We hope you will pay Maple Haven a visit this season for either a camping trip or a cone and enjoy all our beautiful area has to offer!

This place is near clarks trading post. It also is near a great tubing spot on the Pemigewasset River. The camp ground does not have a pool. But has a small pond you can dip in to cool off. It is super cold but refreshing. They have a playground that is pretty nice and kept in good shape. There is a game room with several options, how ever they are very close together and some do not work properly. Air hockey holes don't all have air so the puck gets stuck often. Ping ping paddles rubber pads are hanging off. But we still had fun. There is an ice cream place on the premises and it had good ice cream. We stayed in a cabin this time. Very nice and sturdy. Sleeping for 6 and a table. No water to do dishes or clean anything close by. Long walk to do dishes. It would be nice to have a spigot available to the Cabins. There are a lot of rules, but it makes the place run smoothly. The people that run it are friendly and available. There is also a restaurant on site that serves breakfast. We didn't get to go. We like this campground mostly for its location. I wish they had more activities for the group. That would be very nice. We will definitely be back!

The campground is clean and staff is inviting and very kind. Would have given it a 5-stars if it had a pool. But the store and restaurant and ice cream was fantastic. Bathrooms were new and clean, keep it up. Location was perfect as not in the center but just far enough for a very short ride to hikes, waterfalls, and entertainment. Great place!!!

Would have been a perfect visit except they don't enforce quiet hours and the bathroom kept running out of toilet paper. The site was beautiful. Little small but manageable with our large tent and SUV. The stream was peaceful. Ice cream was delicious. New bathroom was roomy and clean. Showers were expensive and handicap shower needs a bench. Camp store had many good essentials. Location was great and beautiful

My partner and I camped here in spot 45 in a tent. I'm always worried about going to campgrounds that allow both tents and campers/RVs because we like to experience true nature with the peace/quiet there, and some places allow generators to be used. I was especially worried since we were there during peak leaf peeping season! I am happy to report Maple Haven was beautiful, peaceful, and it was really nice having a camp store so close that provided many things one might forget to bring. They also had campfire wood in a covered space for purchase! Even though some of the campsites are close together, our campsite felt quite secluded from the rest of the campground - it was AWESOME! We did luck out and not have any tent neighbors in the 2 sites next to us too, so I'm sure that contributed. I'd stay here again!
