This is our favorite place to camp so far! They even have their own lake, which we've kayaked! It has an island and everything. There's a beach, a rec center, they have free showers and even an indoor pool across the street. And its location is just perfect.
RACISTS! We have never ever been treated so poorly in a campground. We followed the laundry list of rules in the handbook, yet every single time we turned around we were being scolded or accused of something. Not one of the things we had been scolded for were in the handbook and we witnessed several other people doing them. The owner needs to take a lesson in customer service and how to speak to people! And train their managers how to deal with Situations. We did not receive 1 apology for treating us so poorly after we kindly expressed our concerns and how we were treated. I'm beyond disgusted and will never return!
Feels like a shakedown when entering the park. The owner was smoking some illicit substance in his vehicle and then proceeded to corner in the vehicle my family was in with young children. Will not be returning, not a family environment
TOO MANY RULES !! This place is rule crazy. No jumping in the pool. No motorcycles allowed. No fires after midnight Everywhere you look at this place there are rules on signs, rules on paper, rules. The motto should be live free somewhere else !! They won’t guarantee sites unless you book 6 nights. We actually enjoyed our stay here. The sites are a bit tight. Its nice and wooded. Its not the worst campground ever but definitely not the best.
Campground is pretty nice, has its share of nonsensical rules. some self-important employees feel like they need to draw a line and enforce rules without using common sense. Overall, staff attitude seems more "my way or the highway " than actually trying to help the customer.
