We love it here, but several times. Small park, very clean, level sites, clean bathrooms. Very quiet. Location close to Newfound Lake and Bristol. Easy access to Plymouth and Meredith. Owners are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Don't believe the website. Not Big Rig Friendly. Yeah there are some long sites, but the roads are narrow twisty and have very tight turns. Low hanging branches and cars parked all over with no control by the owners add to the problem.

Fire pits are surrounded by tall grass right up to the ring. Overhanging branches on fire rings ad to the excitement.

If you are over 30 feet don't waste your time.

I've read the owner's response.

What she fails to mention is that her own husband told us to go backwards on the one way street as the turns were not suitable for our unit, I add pictures showing the low overhang on the road and narrow streets.

She also fails to mention that when we left we moved the very same sign stanchion that her husband moved out of the way for us on the way in, and she screamed at us like shrew.

I have seen their response, it is one big lie. Wish they put that kind of effort into their park!

If I had only read the reviews about the owner's behavior prior to arriving, I could have managed a better outcome than we had.

They claim "dog friendly" but dog play area is too small for a single large dog to play. This park has 45 sites. There's bound to be more than 1 large dog. No where to run the dog and if you do, the owner is rude. I get it, we broke the rules, but the owner accused our dog of "peeing and pooping" all over the campground. She said she watched it happen but didn't ask us to go clean up after him or tell us where it occurred so we could. (Because it didn't happen!) First off, my dog was under my control and never out of my eyesight. Had it happened, we would have cleaned up after our dog immediately.

Read the pet rules carefully. They ask that you don't let your dog urinate on the grass. Other than putting a diaper on your dog, I don't know how to prevent that. After a small confrontation with the owner (wife) we leashed our dog and sat at the fire. But were watched well into the evening. (Husband) Almost like they were looking for a reason for another conflict. We honestly believe our privacy was violated when we found someone lurking right outside our RV after we had gone in for the night and were discussing the day's events.

We won't be back! Just look at their responses to the critical reviews. They call their guests who were not satisfied "complainers". When we checked in, they disparaged their seasonal customers. I should have caught that as a sign of what's to come as well. That's all the justification I need. I may have broken the dog leash rule, but they are in the wrong business!

Also, their firewood is either unseasoned or they don't keep it dry.

Wi-Fi was spotty at best with just 10-11 sites of 45 with people on them.

BTW, do the math yourself. Over the last two years since the new owners have been there, they have an average review score of 3.43! 3.48 without my score!

We had a lovely 2 month stay at Newfound Lake RV Park. We were lucky enough to get to stay in 2 different areas of the park. The first month we were in site 18. It was huge back in site, nestled in the trees with the river flowing behind you. It was well shaded and offered a ton of privacy. The second month we were in site 31 and still had enough room. This one was a pull through and we loved getting to know our neighbors! We also liked that the park was intimate and so close to the lake. The owners were outstanding and we enjoyed getting to know them. Their vision for the camp is lovely and they work so hard to have everything clean, mowed and in order. The few things we needed help with, they responded quickly and helped get it fixed. They are truly a delight and we will stay there again! We have a 39' Fifth wheel, so it is big rig friendly!
