Camped one night in the RV Park. Made a same day reservation while traveling. Staff friendly and helpful. The campground roads unpaved, uneven and tight curves. Site was big but we were set way back . Forget using the WiFi, no TV reception and streaming was constantly interrupted . Did not use facilities as we were so far back.
It was a very nice campground. Even though it was in the city, it feelt secluded, kind of quiet . Lots of trees and shrubs. Clean place.
Close to stores and restaurants.
Good location.
Would definitely stay here again.
The kids loved the pool. The playground is missing swings so it’s not a functional playground at all. There’s a small basketball hoop. It was noisy at night I had to ask people to turn off their music so my family could sleep. It was okay, but it’s not very secluded, it’s right off a main road. I’d recommend going somewhere more in the forest and quieter.
Our stay was nice enough. Fairly level site with good water and power (albeit only 30 amp). They lose one star for the very tight spaces and confusing roads and another one for how ridiculously expensive it is ($65/night WITH Good Sam Discount). The staff was very nice and the stay was quiet, other than a bit of noise from the highway just in front of the park. Couldn't connect to the protected internet but the open one was ok.
We stayed here in October for a couple weeks and it was the worst experience we have had. And that says a lot coming from us who have been living full time for 2 years and have been to at least a 50 RV parks! We've never had a bad experience until here. The manager who says he's the owner (he isn't, he's the owners son) is very rude. He's verbally abusive to his guests like some of the previous reviews mention. He was verbally abusive to me, he just snapped out of nowhere and went off on me, it was completely uncalled for and he didn't have any remorse for it. I honestly cannot believe the owners don't hire a new manager, even though it's their son, that shouldn't matter. He is the face of the business. Managing an RV park takes people skills, patience and kindness and he doesn't have any of that. I highly recommend finding another local RV park or campground over staying here!
