Take Rezanof Drive West to the Chiniak Hwy to the Saltery Cove Road to Bezonoe Road, right on Pasagshak Road. Park entrance on left at milepost 20 of the Pasagshak Road.
The views are beautiful, there are a lot of great areas to camp, and a lot of parking for day or overnight use. Bathrooms are accessible, though I suggest bringing your own toilet paper, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer. Not the cleanest nor best smelling bathrooms, but what do you expect when you're using a large hole in the ground with a toilet on top?
If you go to fish, you will be battling others for the fish that swim up the river. Cover as much of yourself as possible, you never know when a stray fly hook might hit you.
So beautiful & peaceful out here! Definitely take the extra drive and see the spaceport complex! :)
Such a beautiful area. Nice pull off areas. Open restrooms. Lots of wild life.
Beautiful place to go fishing... catching could be more difficult with the Local snipers, who are 💯 some of the best fishermen you'll witness. Decided to just relax rather than fish.
