This is a great free camping area on your way to or from mount Denali. There are restroom facilities on site however can't speak for if there kept up or not. We were in an RV and was the only one's staying there all night.
It doesn't look like it gets used much.
There were picnic tables and fire pits.
Nice area to camp at no charge. Limited parking spots. Some trails to the river. Simi quite as many passersby for the rest area do make noise all times of the day & night.
Great place to stop for the night. Free camping, 8 sites, I believe. Some of the sites are tent-only with nearby parking. Some of the sites you can back a van into. There are fire pits, picnic tables, and a shelter at one of the tent sites. There's an unofficial walking path back to the river. There are 2 pit-restroom buildings.
Restroom smelled but they were free. Campground was free and I met nice people. Went for a hike in the river even went for a swim. I’d stay here again.
