Lakeview Campground (MP 1256.7) has 11 campsites; available at this facility are tables, toilets, firepits, a photo blind, and garbage containers. Please sign the register at the kiosk once you've selected a site. NOTE: Lakeview is not recommended for trailers, 5th wheels or RVs over 30 feet; there is no drinking water available here.
When you are traveling along Alaska Highway in Alaska it’s a long trip (maybe not for locals) and this campground appears as a welcome oasis to get out and stretch and even spend the night. It is kept clean and well serviced.
First nations steal your stuff don’t stay here. They came at night and stole $1000 worth of stuff while we were sleeping. Police notified.
Short gravel road to access this NO Fee campsite. Dry camping only with lake view, short walk to a bird blind, picnic tables and fire pits. Firewood from Beaver fall is stacked for your use. Two trash bins. Not too steep. We were able to level our 30' class A. Donations appreciated. Brown dog visits from across the road. Quiet. Peaceful. Off the main track. 10 sites.
