Great place to stay in Talkeetna AK. Great price and there are hook up spots available. Each spot has a picnic table and fire pit also! You are close enough to main street to be able to enjoy the restuarants and shops. It was easy to get a spot just called the host and he greeted us when we got there. Would stay here when visiting again.
This RV park doesn't appear like a legitimate business, only accepts cash, no receipts, etc... During my stay a large tree fell onto my vehicle causing major damage with costs to be determined. The resident manager told me the owner was incarcerated. There is no contract, disclaimers of any hazard(s). Camp sites are just gravel pads.
No thrills, but a fantastic place. Simple gravel lots, WAY more space than the RV Park down the road.
Very friendly manager/host. Would definitely stay again.
