Very nice area. I wandered off the beaten path and found a wonderful world of water, plants, lichen, and mushrooms. Coming from northern Nevada, This is a different world for me. Wonderful!

I love coming here every year with family. This years trip we found these cool painted rocks all over campsite 16 and also around the lava rocks. It was a fun treasure hunt trying to find all these and look for more. I hope they stay and more appear!

Love this place. Most campsites are just a few yards from the river. It's dog friendly and has enough space between campsites that you don't feel like you have neighbors. Lots of good trails to hike around this area. Big group sites are available as well. No showers...just drop porta potties but they aren't the worst I've seen. Truly, this campground is a hidden gem.
