From I-5 west on Forest Road 20 approx. 10.5 miles to the campground on the left. One mile past the Mt Ashland Ski Resort.
Had a very nice afternoon, lovely views and nice picnic area!
Really awesome forest service campground on top of Mount Ashland. It was a bit smokey, but the sunset further up the road was stunning!
Just a short drive from Ashland and you are in the middle of beautiful forests. If you continue down the gravel roads, it is a beautiful drive through southern Oregon back country. It blows my mind every time because of how close but far from civilization I am.
Twenty minute drive from Ashland and 80 degrees vs 105!
Dining alfresco, enjoying the beautiful trees and mountains. Not to mention flowers everywhere!!!
I'm a disabled veteran training my dog mountian training. It says campground but was asked to leave because someone got stuck in a truck and needed help so they had to close it off, butni think someoneopened the gate that was supposedto be closed. I had to pack up and go. I'm disappointed but it is for the safety of others 😞 my dog Moose says there are other mountians to climb
