Visited on Memorial Day weekend (May 29, 2017). You can drive around the small lake in less than 5 minutes. Completely packed campground (no camping slots available) with adults, elderly, kids and dogs. People were shoulder to shoulder fishing on the open banks most likely because of the weekend and possibly the lake being freshly stocked. A little too popular and small.

Drove through Lake in the Woods on my way back from Hemlock Lake. Very quite & peaceful. There were lots of campsites available, dispersed around the lake. Would love to come back & camp, take photos & enjoy all the wildlife.

Been going here for years! Two trail heads to choose from, clean, fishing, mostly quiet!
