Staff members are nice. Pictures are a little misleading. Spots are close together, and not all have trees and shade. We paid extra for a river spot, big mistake, ended up by the trash bins and dog park, no trees, and direct sun all day. It’s a small RV park, which is fine, but more permanent residents than expected. The road noise, NEVER STOPS…we had to sleep with ear plugs and windows closed. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, keep looking.
Very nice little gem right on the river. Friendly and helpful staff, cute little store, clean restrooms, and even a nice little dog park. There’s a small trail along the river with benches to sit and relax. Really enjoyed our stay.
Sweat little spot next to a river. Super quiet. Has a mix of full time and travel spots. Ample area for our RV with a spot to park the Jeep right next to us. Grassy area on either side with a little fence partition. Laundry was clean and well kept. Shower bathrooms were brand new. The site was gravel, but we pack pads for our jacks.
A little gem tucked away along the Umpqua River. We were traveling to a dog show at the Douglas Fairgrounds and choose Rising River RV Park because of their favorable reviews; we were not disappointed! We stayed 3 nights in site 18, what a beautiful view of the river. The staff is extremely friendly, the park itself is well kept and supper well maintained, the showers, bathroom and laundry facilities are some of the nicest and cleanest that we've come across. The park is pet friendly and has 2 small dog areas for a little leg stretching. There is a little path down towards the river with some benches so you can enjoy the scenery even if your site doesn't back up to the river. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy some downtime you can't go wrong with Rising River.
