Nice park, but over priced compared to others. More taxes and fees because it is a county or city park. Easy access to dump Station, and nice sitting area to overlook the ocean, not sure if rates are the same all year, but for winter when no one is camping they could attract more people if they came down in price.

I love going to this beach with my girl Tillie. We always find someone who is there to play with.

One of the nicest beaches up north. We are from Southern California where the beaches are beautiful. This compares to those but not nearly as crowded. Really good access too.

Nice campground, we stayed in site #28 with our 38-ft motorhome, which was a larger site #28, 30amp and water and I didn't have to do much blocking to get us level. Beautiful sunsets from the viewing area they have set up.

The beach at Bastendorff is beautiful. There is plenty of parking, either in the parking area or on the street and there is lots of room to enjoy the beach. I saw a review about some tide pools on the south side of the beach and sure enough, there is a great area to explore when the tide goes out. If you are up for traversing over a larger sand rock there is a secluded area with more tide pools as well as some bald eagles that fly around near the trees. We visited in late July and the afternoons were a bit more breezy than the morning but it wasn't bad. We also found a few smaller sand dollars which was pretty cool.
