Bay Point Landing is on the picturesque Oregon coast and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. It is situated on a quiet bay, making it an ideal location for swimming, kayaking and other water activities. The campground itself features a heated pool, hot tub, playground and a game room. Visitors can also take part in organized activities such as yoga classes, wine tastings and guided hikes.
The area surrounding the campground is also home to several hiking trails, wildlife viewing opportunities and world-class fishing. Bay Point Landing also offers modern amenities such as full hookups, Wi-Fi and cable TV. The campground also features a modern bathhouse with private showers, laundry facilities and a well-stocked camp store.
If you wanna try out to vacation in a "Tiny House", this is the place to visit and stay a few nights. We had our 100lbs Bernice Mountain Dog with us and it worked out just great. Easy access, fire pit, chairs and a great view. You are only 20mins from one of the Oregon Coastlines.
Loved this place so much! The service was great, the employees are very helpful, the location and amenities are a huge plus. My only turnoff was the cleanliness of the kitchen area. I didn't use anything but the electric kettle to make some coffee in the morning but I made sure to wash all the dishes prior to using. I realize we were glamping and if I was dry camping it would be dirtier but for the same price as a good hotel I expect a very clean kitchen at the very least. Will give this place another chance in the future because I do want to give a five star review hopefully.
We had a great stay here! We had a short wait (20 minutes) for our room upon arrival. While this isn't too big of a deal, I expect rooms to be ready at 4pm check in, since we were only staying one night and check out time is 11am. (They had 5 hours to have the room ready) The toilet was loose and made a loud noise, and the shower had a small leak; I let the office know and it sounded like they were going to be prompt about fixing it. There was no oven in the Drift cabin, but we did have a stovetop and were able to make an easy dinner. Overall, it was a beautiful location with a beautiful view, and best part is that it's pet friendly. Great find on the coast!
Lovely spot in Coos Bay, but I was disappointed by a few things. Firstly, my cabin lacked hot water, despite trying the sink and shower. Additionally, upon closer inspection, I noticed scratched window film on the doors from dogs, filthy window screens, broken window handles, and stains on the couch. However, despite these issues, the place felt nice, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The scenery was beautiful, and although we tried to use the pool during the adults-only hour, it was crowded with families and kids. If there had been hot water and better-maintained furniture, my experience could have gone from decent to amazing.
Bay Point Landing truly exceeded our expectations for RV camping. After discovering the lack of cell service at another nearby location, we stumbled upon this gem. The staff here were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, even finding a spot for us on short notice.
Navigating our 25’ Roo onto the flat gravel pads was a breeze, thanks to clear instructions. The amenities here are top-notch, including a full-size pool, well-maintained gender-specific bathrooms, and an inviting outdoor play area. Plus, the breathtaking waterfront views added an extra layer of tranquility to our stay.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bay Point Landing to anyone, whether it's family, friends, or even strangers! It's a place that genuinely delivers comfort, convenience, and hospitality. We'll be returning for another memorable stay
