From town, NE 12 mi on Hwy 138 to Whistler's Park Rd, NW 3 mi (E)
Nice river access on both sides of the park, camping area is kept clean and the hosts are nice. We prefer more tree covered spots and more distance or cover between spots, otherwise would have given 5 stars.
I couldn’t find pictures of the inside of the yurt online. I was looking for pictures or information in order to pack appropriately. The yurt was amazing! We loved it! Surprisingly clean and comfortable. However, you have to bring your own bedding. There’s no sheets or pillows or blankets at all. So I took pictures of the inside to hopefully help people in the future who are staying in a yurt! 🙂 I highly recommend camping in a yurt! It was so much fun and way better than a tent. This is yurt #3
I love this place! If you are a disc golfer , have kids, want to just chill by the river with enough space between the next campers, want to star gaze at the top of the hills, this is the best place I've been. After doing 27 holes in the heat (what we call heat in mid April) I was exhausted and went to the river to chill and hydrate ... Felt great! Bathrooms are good to go and the park is clean! Watch out for the bidding Poison Oak but that's the only negative I have. Nature will do what it wants :)
We stopped to stretch our legs and sure glad we did, this place is beautiful for what little of it we saw. Wish I brought shorts and a towel, the river looks inviting.
So glad I got a chance to play this one. Did the classic 18. Great design, beautiful landscape, well maintained, it's really solid concrete tee pads that are wide. A real variety of shots and elevation changes. Also risk reward with the hills and the river.
