Clearwater Falls Campground is located along the Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway. The Clearwater River meanders through old growth Douglas fir forest, surrounded by picturesque moist green foliage. Clearwater Falls separates the campground into two sections with one section situated above the falls. Facilities 9 campsites with picnic tables and fire pits 4 picnic sites with picnic tables and fire pits 3 vault toilets No drinking water No garbage disposal - Please pack it out
Located 70 miles east of Roseburg on State Highway 138, turn south off Highway 138 at the Clearwater Falls Campground Sign. There are two areas for camping. The first area is to your left after you pass the entry sign. To get to the second location get on the Highway heading east for approximately 1 mile. Turn right onto Road 4785 for 1 mile. Camping area is off to the right.
Always wanted to see this place, it's really nice, the plants a very strong, healthy looking, easy access.
Beautiful. Just a few places to camp in the middle of huge red woods.
Definitely stop here if you are looking for a beautiful escape into nature there is a wonderful little pathway to the falls and man is it beautiful just look at my pics but you should see it in person it’s so peaceful and amazing!!
