Friendly greeting when we arrived from office staff ( Melissa) and helpful groundsman ( Kirk). Great for families. Kid track, pool and nice showers after a dusty ride. Also a cafe with great breakfast burritos. Full hook up at the spacious level camp site makes for a great trip.
My second year there for Thanksgiving. I really enjoy the place. Lots of trails to explore. Good times
Great place for anyone looking to get away and play in the desert with your toys. We liked being able to do fires and using the hot tub. Laundry room is clean and affordable. Very friendly and accommodating staff! We've stayed here with a 44ft fifth wheel, and a 38ft Super C with 30ft trailer - the pull throughs fitted both without disconnecting. The back-in sites are wide enough to park a trailer or pickup beside your camper if you want to unload/reload toys without moving. Wide streets that are easy to navigate. Extremely quiet during the week, can get pretty busy on weekends depending on what weekend. We plan on coming back next winter!
We spent the weekend here and were extremely pleased. The facilities were clean, the food was great, (the carne asada fries were amazing) but honestly what we enjoyed the most was the family time. We usually don’t camp in campgrounds because we like to be away from crowds but this time was different. We arrived around 7 pm and found the campground to be nicer than expected, (I haven’t been to ocotillo in over a decade). Saturday we went riding all day and ended up having late lunch at the cafe. The people were great and so was the food. That night the campground put on a movie for the kids and the staff was great, they came in to check on the kids and even made popcorn. Our family had a memorable weekend and we appreciate the ocotillo every resort for their part in it.
